Ducks Dominate Week 2 and Rout Boise State
Oregon Football kicked off their 2024 season with a resounding victory over Boise State, showcasing a dominant performance on both sides of the ball. The Ducks' offense exploded for 37 points, while their defense held Boise State to 34.
Offensive Highlights:

Dillon Gabriel had a stellar game, passing for 243 yards and two touchdowns.

Jordan James also had a big game with 102 yards on 17 carries

Evan Stewart had 5 catches for 112 yards and a touchdown

Tez Johnson also had a huge 85 yard return for a TD that gave the Ducks momentum in the third quarter.
Defensive Dominance:

The defense was outstanding, limiting Boise State to just 369 yards of total offense. The defensive line was disruptive, applying constant pressure on the quarterback.

The defense played well with 12 passes deflected, 4 TFLs, 1 sac and a fumble. Nikko Taylor came up big with the fumble recovery.
Overall Impression:
Oregon's performance in Week 2 was impressive, and it bodes well for the rest of the season. The Ducks have a strong defense that flies to the football and can keep any teams scoring in check. The offense is strong in the running game behind a solid O-Line and passing game from Dillon Gabriel. The passing game seems to be improving each week with Gabriel at the helm as well.
